Leadership

Rami, CEO and co-founder

Rami co-founded Syntmatic to offer what larger consultancies find hard to provide: senior Salesforce expertise without layers of account management in between. Clients talk to the people who design and build their system, from the first workshop to support years later.

Since 2019 Rami has delivered Salesforce for the Australian public sector, across new implementations, integrations with finance and line-of-business systems, and long-term support. That work shaped how Syntmatic operates: careful with security, thorough with documentation and realistic about what government projects need to succeed.

As CEO, Rami leads Syntmatic's delivery and stays hands-on as a Salesforce developer and architect, working with clients in Canberra, Sydney and across Australia.

Approach

What you can expect from us

We work with Australian public sector agencies, small and medium businesses and consulting firms that need experienced Salesforce capacity. What they have in common is a need for work that is done properly the first time and still makes sense years later.

We work with clients across Australia and attend workshops in person in Canberra and Sydney. Our consultants live and work in Australia and keep Australian business hours.

  • Plain advice

We tell you what we think, including when the answer is a smaller project, a different product or no project at all.

  • Standard before custom

We use Salesforce's standard features wherever they meet the need and write code only where they do not, so your system stays easier to maintain and upgrade.

  • Written down

Every significant design decision is recorded with the reason behind it, so the next person can understand the system without guessing.

  • Secure by default

Least-privilege access, separate environments and controlled releases are part of how we build, not an extra at the end.

  • Yours to keep

Each engagement ends with a proper handover. Your team owns the system, the documentation and the knowledge.

Method

How we work

Every engagement follows the same shape, whatever its size. We agree what success looks like before designing anything, build in small steps you can see and test, and finish with a handover that leaves your team in control.

Case studies

Selected experience

Anonymised experience of our leadership team, including work delivered through partner consultancies. We never name clients.

A national cultural institution, Canberra

A first CRM for partner and enquiry management

Problem
The institution managed a national network of partner organisations, their sites, group memberships and billing arrangements, along with incoming enquiries, across spreadsheets and email. Staff needed one system they could trust, designed so it could connect to other systems later without a redesign.
Approach
We wrote the high-level solution design and environment strategy, then designed and built the data model. It covers partner organisations, sites with unique identifiers, group memberships with start and end dates, and billing relationships, all protected by validation rules so duplicates cannot creep in. Each staff role got least-privilege permission set groups, and enquiries are routed through queues. Every change moved through source control and pull requests across development, QA and training environments, and user acceptance testing defects were fixed and retested before promotion.
Outcome
The first release was deployed to production with all 164 components passing, backed by a release runsheet, a training environment for staff and documentation the institution owns. Later releases, such as web enquiries and integrations, can build on the same design.

A federal government department, Canberra

A secure provider portal on Experience Cloud

Problem
The department needed external providers to submit information, search their records and upload documents through a portal, with government-grade security on every file and data kept in step with internal systems.
Approach
Working inside a consulting partner's delivery team over two years, we built the portal's Lightning Web Components: dynamic forms, search and filter, data tables and secure file uploads scanned for viruses through the records management system's API. OmniStudio guided the provider journeys, metadata-driven Apex mapped objects without hard-coding, and platform events kept systems synchronised in real time.
Outcome
The portal went live with round-the-clock go-live support, and test and release teams were supported through each production deployment. Because the mapping is driven by metadata, it can be changed without code.

A federal government agency, Canberra

Modernising a customer-facing Salesforce platform

Problem
The agency's Salesforce platform relied on legacy Aura components and on Flows that were reaching their limits under high concurrency. Testers spent too long preparing data in lower environments.
Approach
In a Baseline-cleared environment, we built branded OmniStudio journeys (OmniScripts, FlexCards and Data Mappers) to the government's accessibility standards. We moved high-volume logic from Flows into Apex and migrated Aura components to Lightning Web Components. We also designed a data-seeding approach that copies realistic data models into test sandboxes, and set up and tested Connected Apps for third-party integrations.
Outcome
Pages load faster and are easier to maintain. Critical production bottlenecks in OmniStudio were resolved. Testers start with matching data in every environment, which shortens QA and UAT cycles.

A global consulting partner

Salesforce expertise for a large data migration

Problem
A global IT services firm was migrating an enterprise client's records into Salesforce. Its Python and Talend data teams needed someone who knew the Salesforce side: the data model, the Bulk API's governor limits and the client's automation.
Approach
We joined the firm's team under its methods. We explained the data model and object relationships to developers and testers, managed sandboxes, users, permissions and sharing, and maintained the Flows, Process Builders and Apex that the loads ran through. We loaded notes and files with Node.js, then monitored every load job and fixed errors on the spot.
Outcome
Every object's data was checked after loading, and failed records were investigated and corrected during the migration, not after it. The firm kept full ownership of its client relationship.
