Frequently asked questions

Questions buyers ask before they call

These are the questions Australian organisations most often ask before starting a Salesforce project, answered plainly. If yours is not here, call 0494 743 131 and ask one of our consultants.

What affects the cost of a Salesforce project?

Cost is driven by scope rather than by Salesforce itself: the number of teams and processes involved, how much data needs cleaning and migrating, how many systems must be integrated, how much custom development is unavoidable, and how much training and change support your people need. Licences are a separate, ongoing cost paid to Salesforce. A short discovery stage lets us give you a clear estimate before you commit.

How long does a Salesforce implementation take?

A focused implementation for one team often takes six to twelve weeks. Programmes involving several business units, complex integrations or data from many systems take longer and are best delivered in stages, each one usable on its own. We give you a realistic timeline after discovery, once requirements, data and dependencies are understood.

Do we buy Salesforce licences through you?

No. You buy licences from Salesforce directly or through your organisation's existing procurement arrangement. We help you choose editions and user numbers, review quotes and check that the licence plan matches your requirements. Because we do not resell licences, our advice is not tied to the size of the order.

Can you work within government procurement?

Yes. We can quote directly where your rules allow, work as a subcontractor to a supplier already on a panel your agency uses, or join a consulting firm's team on an existing contract. Our proposals set out scope, deliverables, assumptions and risks clearly, so they are straightforward to assess and to manage.

How do you approach security?

Security is part of how we build, not a review at the end. We use least-privilege access, separate environments for build, test and production, controlled releases and a record of every change. For government clients we work with your security team, align with your agency's policies and provide documentation for your assessments.

Where will our data be stored?

Salesforce can host your org in Australia on its Hyperforce infrastructure, which matters for many government and regulated organisations. We help you confirm the data residency terms in your contract, and we design integrations and data handling so information does not travel to other systems or locations without a reason.

Can you migrate data from our current system?

Yes. We help you decide what is worth keeping, clean duplicates and inconsistencies, and map old fields to the new design. Data is loaded through trial runs first, with reconciliation reports you can check against the source. The final load is planned around a cutover window that suits your business.

What happens after go-live?

We stay close for the first weeks, when questions are most likely, then move to whatever ongoing support suits you. That can range from a few hours a month to a regular arrangement covering administration, enhancements, release reviews and health checks. You deal with the same consultant who built the system.

Can you work alongside our existing Salesforce partner?

Yes. Some clients bring us in for a second opinion, a specialist piece of work such as integration design, or extra capacity during a busy period. We agree boundaries with you and your current provider at the start, share our work openly and avoid duplicating effort, so the arrangement helps rather than complicates delivery.

Can you fix a Salesforce org someone else built?

Yes, and it is common. We start with a health check covering security, data quality, automation, technical debt and licence use, then give you prioritised findings. You decide what to fix and in what order. We document the org as we go, so it ends up better understood than when we started.

Do you work in person or remotely?

Both. Discovery workshops, design reviews, user testing and go-live are usually best in person, and we attend them in Canberra and Sydney. Build and support work is done remotely, which keeps costs down. For clients in other parts of Australia, we work remotely and travel when being in the room matters.

Who will actually do the work?

You work directly with our senior consultants, led by Rami, our CEO and co-founder, a Salesforce developer and architect who has delivered for the public sector since 2019. The people you speak to at the start are the people who design and build your system, so nothing is lost between the sales conversation and delivery.

Do you work with small businesses as well as government?

Yes. Small and medium businesses make up a large share of our work. The approach is the same, but scaled: fewer stages, standard features wherever possible and a firm eye on licence and running costs. We will tell you honestly if Salesforce is more than you need.

How do we get started?

Call 0494 743 131 or send an enquiry with a few lines about what you are working on. We will have a short conversation about your goals and constraints, tell you plainly whether we can help, and if so, suggest a sensible first step, often a short discovery or health check.
